Online Art Therapy for Expats
—— Let’s rebuild your foundation together.
It is my purpose to create a safe haven for you, from which we can explore the journey you chose and to provide the tools you need to find your place in unknown lands.

Meet Your Guide
Art Therapist | Lady of the Past | Chocolate Lover
Hi there, my name is Elianne Kranendonk, a Dutch art therapist supporting expats to experience the life they want with joy, ease and vigor.
Experiencing the beauty and hardships of a life abroad myself, I know the ups and downs you face. It gives us the wonderful opportunity to put a magnifying glass on sides of ourselves which we rather had left unseen.
Do not fret. Through art making we will discover that they are truly diamonds in disguise, making you shine as bright as before. If not more.
I am here to support you as we rebuild your foundation, grounding and guiding your way to spread your wings again in excitement.
Services
Art Therapy

Discover how you can be your own anchor and grow your circle by tapping into the play of art making. I will guide you through the process, so you can ease into the images.
Experience Groups

These groups are here to have a place to share your journey with others that are going through the same experience. Each group will have its own themes, based on where you are in the process. And each meeting is designed around a specific part of your journey.
Community Projects

It is time to bring your light into the neighbourhood. Creating low-key activities to get to know each other better and to enhance social coherence.
Those Who Went Before You
“You are a very nice therapist. Very calm and quiet, but also easy to talk to and with. That created a nice atmosphere in which I felt at ease. This made it easier to be open, which is better for the process.”

Yoëlla
“I followed art therapy with Elianne because of my study-related procrastination. Although it was difficult to open up at first, Elianne’s warm and empathetic guidance made me feel at ease very quickly.”

Step Two: Getting to Know You
We will have a more elaborate call in which we have a little dive into your biography, the struggle you want to face and what materials you will need. We will schedule two art making sessions in the weeks afterwards.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this covered by my insurance?
No, the sessions can not be declarated at your insurance.
How do I cancel my appointment?
You can cancel your appointment by getting in touch through the contact page or by texting or calling this number via WhatsApp.
Be aware that the session will be charged when cancelled within 24 hours. Cancelled 24 hours before the session there will not be any costs calculated.
How does the payment work?
After each 4 weeks you will get an invoice. You can pay the amount by bank transfer or in your account. Keep in mind that there is a 14 days period to complete the payment.
What videocall program should I use?
We will be using Jisti Meet, which is similar in use as Zoom, but open source. It is easily accessible from your browser, no account required. You will receive a link and password from me after you have registered for a session.
How do I set up my workspace for a session?
Make sure you have a flat surface to work on, with at least the space for A3 paper. A table or desk will usually suffice. It can work more comfortable if you can make sure there aren’t any other things that can disturb or distract you while we are in a session.
What material do I need for the sessions?
I wrote a post to give you a few tips on what to get and where to get it. You can read all about it here.
